We were just looking at our photos and wondering how the two of you were doing? Almost six years ago what a great job! If we get back to Georgia we will get the two of you to photograph the kids.

Yes, we still mostly stick with the center focal point. Well, actually, we normally change it to the closest focal point if it is feasible (aka, ring shots, or any shots where the moment won't pass too quickly). We use all of the focal points in extreme situations now, and typically end the day without using this feature at all.

Hi guys, I just bought my 5D Mark III and I'm loving your tutorial videos. I'm just wondering, with the 61-focal point system, do you still stick with focus-recompose with the centre point? What occasion would you use the joystick to select different focal points..? Thanks so much! L

Thanks Sarah! We used a variety of lenses throughout the day. Most of what is shown above was shot with the 50 1.2L, while some were shot with the 85 1.2L or the 135 2.0L. If you are on Mac and drag/save the image to your desktop/computer and then right-click > 'Get Info' it will tell you the camera, lens, aperture, and shutter speed used.
